Bonjour, je m'appelle Dila!
Welcome to French with Dila! I teach French in an engaging and personalized way, tailored to your needs. I graduated from Istanbul Saint-Joseph French High School and Galatasaray University, specializing in Communication and Cinema. I continued my masters in visual arts in Sabancı University, and currently I am a PhD student in Portugal.
Since 2007, I have taught private and group lessons. As an interdisciplinary artist and Francophone, I bring insight and a deep understanding of French culture to my teaching. I speak Turkish, French, English, and Portuguese and have experience with various language systems from around the world.
I understand that every student is unique, and I tailor my methods to meet their individual needs. By carefully analyzing each student's strengths and areas for improvement, I create customized lesson plans that foster a supportive and interactive learning environment. This personalized approach ensures that you can thrive and progress confidently in your French studies.
How does it work?
I offer both private lessons and group sessions, depending on your preference. I work with students of all levels (A1 to C1), helping them prepare for exams such as DELF-DALF, entrance exams for French high schools, Galatasaray University internal exams, Canada TAF exams, and YDS French. I also offer lessons for primary school students at Petit Prince School and for those seeking to improve their Business French.
For advanced levels I use a teaching method involves using French movies to explore the language's nuances and cultural context. This interactive approach helps you understand the origins of words and phrases. I also use modern content related to arts, music, and videos to make learning enjoyable.
Lessons are conducted online via Zoom for convenience. Whether you’re beginning your French journey or aiming to deepen your language skills, let’s explore together.
